Fans cannot wait for Game of Thrones season 7. Little has been revealed about the upcoming July 2017 premiere of Game of Thrones season 7, so fans are probably going to howl at the moon when they see the new teaser trailer.

The Game of Throne season 7 teaser trailer was released by HBO and is entitled “Long Walk”.

Game of Thrones season 7 is the penultimate season of the popular HBO drama based on the novels by George R. R. Martins. Not only will season 7 and season 8 be the two final seasons of Game of Thrones, but it was also confirmed that season 8 will be the shortest too. It will only run for 6 episodes each, as opposed to the usual 10-episode seasons Game of Thrones have delivered previously.

It was revealed by showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss at the SXSW film festival in Texas that pop musician, Ed Sheeran will be starring in Game of Thrones season 7. Ed Sheeran won’t be the first musician to be making an appearance on Game of Thrones. Drummer of Coldplay, Will Champion made an appearance during the now infamous Red Wedding episode in season 3. Earlier in season 3, Snowpatrol lead singer, Gary Lightbody made an appearance as a soldier. Season 5 of Game of Thrones featured Bill Kelliher, Brent Hinds, and Brann Dailor – members of Maston – as Wildlings. The full Of Monsters And Men band appeared in season 6 in the Bloody Hand episode where Arya Stark watches play.
