Costume SuperCenter put together an infographic showing how the iconic Star Trek uniform has changed over the past 50 years. The infographic sets out the history of this uniform in its different versions throughout the franchise’s successful 50-year run.

Our favourite version of the Star Trek uniform is from the Star Trek Generations (1994) era. We love the all-black look, with only a touch of colour in the collar to signify the rank of the Starfleet officer wearing it.

The infographic also includes the version of the Star Trek uniform which is worn in the latest Star Trek Beyond movie.  Star Trek Beyond was the third installment in the reboot series which was started back in 2009 when Star Trek was released. Star Trek Into Darkness followed in 2013. Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto return to reprise their roles of the legendary Captain James T. Kirk and Commander Spock. Zoe Saldana also returns as Uhura and John Cho reprises his role of Sulu.
