The Hollywood Reported interviewed more than 2 800 TV industry people to choose their favourite TV shows of all time, excluding talk shows and news programs. The group of people who were interviewed included:

  • 779 actors;
  • 365 producers; and
  • 268 directors.

The Hollywood Reporter then went on to compile a list of Hollywood’s top 100 TV shows of all time, explaining that:
