These are our favourite famous movie cars that send our hear rates racing.

GMC Van (A-Team)

Movie Cars

The popular TV show made it onto the big screen and the iconic GMC Vandura van with its characteristic red stripe, black and red wheels and rooftop spoiler was carried over. This is one tough van than contains an arsenal of weapons used by the A-team in their various action-packed adventures.

Bumblebee (Transformers)

Movie Cars

Who wouldn’t want to own a Chevrolet that transforms into a robot? It’s got a V8 engine, and robot-mode – what more do you need?

DeLorean DMC-12 (Back to the Future)

Movie Cars

It wouldn’t have been a movie franchise about time travel if it wasn’t for Doc Brown’s modified DeLorean. This is one of the most iconic movie cars of all time, and one that is immediately linked to pure geekiness.

Ecto-1 (Ghostbusters)

Movie Cars

When it comes to movie cars, the flashier, the better and it doesn’t get much out-there than the Ghostbusters van. The Ecto-1 is an ambulance/hearse combination and was used by the team to bust ghosts and ghouls all over New York City.

Eleanor (Gone in 60 Seconds)

Movie Cars

This 1973 became on of the most famous movie cars thanks to the car heist movie, Gone in 60 Seconds, starring Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie.

Shaggin Wagon

Movie Cars

Not particularly one of the most stylish movie cars, but definitely one that stands out. This 1984 Ford Econoline dog-inspired van is driven in Dumb and Dumber.

The Mach 5 (Speedracer)

Movie Cars

When the iconic cartoon series got made into a big screen adaptation by the Wachowskis, everyone knew we’d be treated to a ton of cool movie cars. One of our favourite movie cars which we were delighted made it into the big screen version is the Mach 5.

Batmobile (1989 Batman)

Movie Cars

There have been many different iterations of the Batmobile, but our favourite has to be the version in Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman movie.

Herbie (Herbie: Fully-Loaded)

It might not have been the most successful big screen adaptations of late, but Herbie remained as cute as ever in the 2005 movie starring Lindsay Lohan.

The Gigahorse

Movie Cars

The list of the best movie cars wouldn’t be complete without featuring one of the machines from Mad Max: Fury Road. The 2015 movie was packed with cool movie cars, but the Gigahorse was our favourite.
