Chris Owen

Most famously known as The Sherminator from the American Pie franchise, Chris Owen was not able to find fame that lasted longer than a teenage movie.

He is one of the former celebrities that fell really hard and works one of most average real jobs out there – he is a waiter. A sushi waiter in LA to be more specific.

This former hip-hop star realised how cold fame could be.

When his fame flame started to fizzle, Vanilla Ice knew that he had to start considering getting one of the real jobs out there. Instead, he created a new career for himself by starting a real estate website, which has allowed him to branch out into real estate investment and home renovations.

Jack Gleeson

It might not have been easy to stay in the spotlight when you’ve portrayed one of the most hated TV characters of all time. Shortly after his time on HBO’s popular show, Game of Thrones came to an end, Jack Gleeson announced that King Joffrey Baratheon would be the last character he would ever portray. He went on to study philosophy at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.

Dylan Sprouse

After being spotted serving lattes to people at a New York City coffee spot, Dylan Sprouse assured his fans that he doesn’t need to take on a bunch of real jobs because he is now destitute. It was a deliberate decision to break away from his Suit Life with his twin brother, Cole Sprouse.

The twins, who had been in front of the cameras since they were 10-months old, decided to withdraw from the spotlight and enrolled into NYU. Cole has returned to acting, starring in Rivendale, but Dylan prefers to work real jobs it seems than to pursue the Suit Life again.

M.C. Hammer

After filing for bankruptcy for being in $13 million worth of debt, M.C. Hammer still managed to pull his life around.

He now works a few different real jobs like officiating weddings, managing mixed martial artists, developing iPad apps and lecturing about new media at universities like Harvard, Wharton, Stanford, and Oxford
