The Sims Mobile is out and we’ve had a few weeks controlling people from our pockets. Here’s what we thought about The Sims Mobile.

The Sims Mobile might not be the first mobile experience of the popular and beloved franchise from EA. However, The Sims Mobile is by far the best from the franchise in terms of a mobile game. Right off the bat, you can see that The Sims Mobile is a premium mobile experience. The Sims Mobile looks fantastic and resembles the PC and console games very accurately. We loved the detail, and the ability to customize – two elements that we’ve always looked for and appreciated in a Sims game. So it was awesome to see that these two elements translated well into The Sims Mobile.

The ability to customize characters and build houses is awesome to experience on mobile. The Sims Mobile gives you a real in-depth experience of creating a character, life, building a house, career and all those awesome Sims stuff you love to customize and control. The amount of detail that went into creating the different looks and items and variables is awesome to behold in The Sims Mobile.

If you’ve ever played with a Tamagotchi, then you’re going to love The Sims Mobile. This mobile game is like a Tamagotchi on steroids and you’ll feel yourself being constantly drawn to open the app on your iOS or Android device. With real progress in life, family, household items, money, career, etc. you’ll be tempted to play The Sims Mobile often and throughout the entire day. That’s what makes the mobile experience so unique and addictive – the ability to play anywhere, anytime. The Sims Mobile has unleashed The Sims into a broader playing experience and we think mobile players and The Sims fans are going to love that they can now play more often.

The social element of The Sims Mobile is also pretty cool. You have the ability to meet other The Sims Mobile players when your Sims attend social events in the game, like parties.


The Sims Mobile is hardly a groundbreaking mobile game. However, for fans of The Sims franchise, this is by far the best mobile version of the beloved game. The graphics are detailed and awesome to behold. The gameplay can get a bit boring, but it remains rewarding thanks to progress in different areas of The Sims Mobile game. There might not be many unique elements in The Sims Mobile from a pure mobile gaming point of view. But if you look at it as an extension of The Sims franchise, it is the best mobile experience by a long shot for this gaming franchise that has been around since 2000.
