GBA Fun

Classic Video Games

First on the list is GBA Fun. Remember all those fantastic Game Boy Advance and Game Boy Color games that everyone loved? They are all available on this site. GBA Fun lets you load up various roms online and emulate them through the built-in program. All you need to do is choose a game from the list or search for one and get playing. The site currently works in Chrome and all you need to do is enable Flash Player when the pop-up comes up.

We recommend classic video games like Dragon Ball Z, Pokemon Ruby, Pokemon Sapphire, The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga, and of course Metroid Fusion.

Emulator Online

Classic Video Games

If GBA games are not your thing, then perhaps SNES games are? Emulator.online has some great games that include Game Boy, NES, SNES and even SEGA Genesis. The site is just as easy as GBA where you just choose a game, click “get Adobe Flash Player” choose to enable the program and play the game.

We recommend all the Sonic The Hedgehog games as well as Wonder Boy in Monster World, Gunstar Heroes, Streets of Rage 2, Comix Zone and Contra: Hard Ops.

Game Oldies.com

Probably the best site on this list is Game Oldies.com. This site lets you emulate Sony PlayStation games right into your web browser and it is as simple as that. The games range from Crash Bandicoot all the way to Final Fantasy IX, Crash Team Racing and even the likes of Tenchu and more. Some games do not run as well as others but it all depends on your PC hardware too. The ones we played like Crash Bandicoot and 102 Dalmatians worked perfectly. If you do have issues with the performance we found turning the sound off causes the game to run much smoother.

Retro Games

Classic video gamesRetroGames.com is the only site on this list that has a DS emulator. While it does not run as smooth as it should, games are completely playable on the site which makes it great for those who never played games like Pokemon Black or Pokemon Pearl. The site also offers a range of N64 games to emulate too, like Super Mario 64 and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The site runs well and there are previews of the games. Most of all, you just choose a game, run Flash Player and you are good to go. There is also a very small selection of PlayStation games to choose from.

SSega.com

Classic Video Games

SSega.com is very similar to GBA Fun as it runs on the same site. However, the site offers three ways to launch a game. Flash Player, Javascript emulator or JS Emulator. This means that if it does not load for you due to restrictions in hardware or even blocks on your network, you can try an alternate one. The JavaScript Emulator seems to be the best in our testing as it runs smoothly and loads pretty fast too.

This site is the best place to play all the Disney games as we all know the SEGA Genesis had the best Disney collection out of all the consoles. The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Toy Story and much more. They are all available on the site and made their name on the SEGA Genesis.

LoveRetro.com

Classic Video Games

Last but not least we have LoveRetro.com. We left it last mainly due to it being the best of the best on the list. Its selection of classic video games and its browser emulation is top class online gaming. Everything from Nintendo DS to Game Boy. Even some Nintendo 64 and SNES.
