Here are some of the details we spotted in the new Game of Thrones trailer for season 8, which premieres on 14 April 2019.

SPOILER ALERT: Some spoilers and theories that might not pan out about HBO’s Game of Thrones to follow.

Arya Is Ready For Battle

The Game of Thrones trailer for the final season is opened with Arya Stark (portrayed by Maisie Williams) talking about the many faces of death. She looks pretty beaten up and scared, but then the camera cuts to her looking calmer than ever, holding a weapon in front of her, proclaiming that she is looking forward to killing whoever she has her weapon drawn against.

The big battle shown in the Game of Thrones trailer, is The Battle of Winterfell. It’s where the living face off against the Night King and his undead army of White Walkers. It also marks Arya’s first battle.

What’s very interesting is what weapon she is wielding in the Game of Thrones trailer. She’s holding a weapon made from Dragonglass.

Cercei Got Her Golden Army

Cercei Lannister (portrayed by Lena Headey) looks rather smug throughout the new Game of Thrones trailer. And that’s probably because Euron Greyjoy (portrayed by Pilou Asbæk) seems to have managed to organise her that Golden Army she wanted.

Jaime Lannister (portrayed by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) is seen leaving King’s Landing behind, and is then see in the Halls of Winterfell saying that he intends to keep his promise to fight the White Walker army.

Daenerys and Jon

There’s a lot of footage of this new power (slightly wrong) couple in the Game of Throne trailer for the final season.

We see them leading an army into Winterfell and we also see them with Daenerys’s (portrayed by Emilia Clarker) two remaining dragons. The dragons are standing over a pile of carcasses at one point, too.

It does look like we might see Jon Snow (portrayed by Kit Harrington) ride a dragon in this final season of Game of Thrones.

They’re All There

We see most of the major characters in this first full-length Game of Thrones trailer for the final season.

The main characters include Tyrion Lannister (portrayed by Peter Dinklage), Sansa Stark (portrayed by Sophie Turner), Bran Stark (portrayed by Isaac Hempstead Wright), Brienne Tarth (portrayed by Gwendoline Christie) and many more.

There you have some of the major details we spotted in the new Game of Thrones trailer for the final season of all final seasons.
