Where we will be meeting the kids we’ve loved for three seasons, remains to be seen. But the Upside Down is definitely there, wherever “there” might be.
Stranger Things Season 4 Release Date
Netflix hasn’t confirmed the release date for season 4 of Stranger Things. But based on the show’s previous release schedule, the date is sure to be significant.
Season 2 was released in October 2017 to coincide with the Halloween theme of the first episode from the second season.
Season 3 was released on the 4th of July 2019 to coincide with the fourth of July/Summer and fireworks theme from the newest released season of the show.
So, it’s safe to assume that season 4 will probably be released in a couple of years from now on a significant date.
Which Cast Members Are Coming Back?
There are some cast members we can all agree will be back, like Eleven (portrayed by Millie Bobby Brown), and the rest of the gang.
But what about the newer cast members like Maya Hawke’s Robin? The actress has mentioned her hope of returning for season 4.
I don’t think that I’ve been confirmed or denied next year. I had such a good time doing the show. I hope to get to be in season 4 and that Robin gets to continue to grow and develop to use her brains to unravel and unveil the mysteries of the Upside Down because I think she’s really smart.
As for fan-favourite Jim Hopper (portrayed by David Harbour), we can only hope that he somehow makes it to season 4 of Stranger Things.
Stranger Things Season 4 Plot Details
Although we don’t have the official plot yet, we can guess that The Wizard of Oz will be referenced at least once based on the “We’re not in Hawkins anymore” reference in the teaser trailer. Also, the show’s creators, The Duffer Brothers have already hinted as to what fans can be expecting from the fourth season of one of the most popular Netflix Original shows.
We don’t know a lot, but we do know a lot of the big broad strokes. At the end of season two, we knew about Billy. We knew that the Russians were going to come in. We didn’t know the mall and stuff, but again, we know these big broad strokes. That’s sort of where we are in season four.
