The massively popular music-streaming service Last.fm has just announced a major change in service, announcing today that it is aborting on-demand music streaming and instead directing listeners to new music partners MOG, Spotify, The Hype Machine, We7 and VEVO.
The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas says the band are recording the new album without him in studio.
Seven45 Studios will be releasing a music game that actually lets players strum a real six-string electric guitar instead of tapping buttons on a fake instrument.

Spotify is a free, legal, cloud-based streaming music service delivered via desktop software with a nice social twist. A Swedish start-up with offices in London, it launched back in 2008 in Europe and now boasts around five million users and around six million tracks from the major labels as well as a ton of independents.
