The Flipboard for iPad
Flipboard has got tech lovers, users, bloggers and journalists excited, as this has brought a new era in how we consume / digest social platforms. So you wondering what this excitement might be all about… Well here is some information on this free app.
This ‘social magazine’ (this is what Flipboard has dubbed itself) attempts to make social networks and the Internet more accessible, visually more interesting and friendly to end users. Essentially the app pulls in information from your social media profiles, such as Twitter and Facebook, and it actually displays as an easy-to-navigate, personalised touchscreen environment. It pulls quotes, photos, videos, status updates and even the intro paragraph of linked content. It even has the same capabilities of sharing and commenting as if you were on these platforms.
Sound intrigued, well then definitely take a look at the introductory video.
